A Trip To Be Remembered

Traveling is one of life's most rewarding experiences. The eighth graders and their partners have been selected to travel to a far away place, Mars.
Their job for this project was to plan a community of 100 families Mars in the year 2030. They needed to look at different aspects of a community such as government, housing, transportation, economy, agriculture, diversity, entertainment, technology, media, and whatever else they could think of. Together the group  planned a simple layout for the planet. Each group project must contain information on the aspects listed above. This information msut be displayed through a visual project such as drawings as diorama, Lego's building blocks, models, etc. You may not use a power point presentation; that is their only limitation. Below they are creating their unique mars

Will, Hannah, Cole, and Seth concentrate on the fine details of creating a unique model of mars. Amanda sketches the designs for their Mars community.

Amanda and Aaron form their construction of mars out of a cardboard box. They are  using markers to give it some color. Satin, Jaci, and Holly  work on their design of Mars.
