New Sports Season |
|
Golf finally started on March 6th. For all of the golfers it was a long wait for a new season. After earning State Runner-Up last year in Class C-1, CCHS golfers are looking forward to having another great season. CCHS moved to class B this year after being in Class C-1 last year. "We were moved into Class B because our enrollment numbers were higher this year, and next year we'll probably be back in Class C-1," said Tanner. CCHS will face schools like McCook, Lexington, and Gering in Class B, which will be very tough. "We aren't assured of going to state this year, but if we play good at Districts we have a shot at making it. McCook has a very good team this year and they will be the toughest to beat this year," said Coach Munger.
