   On November 6, 1999 Mrs. Elder the sponsor of Chase County High School woke up early, in order to have everything done for the events of the day. Leah C, Jessica R. And Silvia C. got in the van at 6:00 and headed out to the McCook Community College where they would meet new people, compete, and learn a lot about other chapters from around the area.  those chapters competing were Grant, Wallace, Medicine Valley, Benkelman and Chase County (Imperial).

 

"I was proud that all three members took the time to write their speeches, gave up a Saturday to compete, and got a silver medal for their performances".
