CCHS ART FIELD TRIP
| On October 21,1999 some CCHS art students attended a field trip to the Denver Art Museum in Denver. They left the school early that Thursday morning (6:00am!) so they could arrive on time to see the Impressionism show that started at 10:40. They viewed rare paintings, collected by European museums, from artists like Monet, Degas, Renoir, and Van Gogh. Many of the students enjoyed the viewings while others enjoyed spending the day away from school. After the show many students explored the other art pieces that were owned by the Denver Art Museum. The students left the museum and went to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. There, they were able to explore the building and purchase souvenirs if they choose. Most bought drinking glasses with their meal. The food was served and many were pleased with the outcome. "The food was good though a bit pricey." said Heather J. After eating, the art class loaded back onto the bus for the long trip home. Most students said it was a long trip but well worth it.
Those who attended the field trip were sponsors Mr. and Mrs. Hackman, Mr. C., Mrs. Haberman, Mrs. Lee, and Mrs. Burke, students Tim W, Jessica M, Amanda S, John S, Amanda R, Luke F, Shane W, Aja O, Kalli W, Nichole C, Sariah H, Heather J, Kelly O, Jessica R, Shawna W, Juan G, Daniel J, Amanda J, Meredith S, Ashley S, Alaina W, Michelle K, Beau B, Jessie M, and Alan W.
