We started raising ponies for the simple fact it is hard to find a kids' horse that is bred to be nice. We believe Welsh Ponies are that horse. We have a variety of sizes from purebred Section A Welsh Ponies (12hh and smaller) to half-breds that are crossed with an appendix quarter horse, the Appendix Quarter Horse Welsh Cross. These ponies will be around 15 hh which is the perfect size for the bigger kids or the average size adults who just want that perfect size horse. Both our stallions are real sweethearts. The quarter horse is very athletic with that gentlemanly attitude (our daughters can ride him with only a halter).
The Welsh are a strong tough breed which can be finished in any direction you would choose.
